1S-LSD
1S-LSD (1-(3-(trimethylsilyl)propionyl)-lysergic acid diethylamide) is a psychotropic substance and research chemical belonging to the Lysergamides, lysergamide class. It is the Trimethylsilyl group, trimethylsilyl derivative (chemistry), derivative of 1P-LSD and functions as a prodrug and Functional analog (chemistry), functional analogue of Lysergic acid diethylamide, LSD. 1S-LSD was developed in response to legal restrictions on similar compounds, such as 1D-LSD, which were banned in Germany under the List of German drug laws#NpSG, NpSG law in June 2024. The compound was introduced as a legal alternative by incorporating a trimethylsilyl group, which is not covered under current NpSG regulations. This chemical modification allows 1S-LSD to be legally sold in Germany as of September 2024. It is typically distributed in its hemi-D-tartrate form, a common format for lysergamides due to its stability and ease of use. Chemistry 1S-LSD belongs to the lysergamide class of compoun ...

Lysergamides
Lysergamides, also known as ergoamides or as lysergic acid amides, are amides of lysergic acid (LA). They are ergolines, with some lysergamides being found natural product, naturally in ergot as well as other fungi. Lysergamides are notable in containing embedded substituted phenethylamine, phenethylamine and substituted tryptamine, tryptamine moiety (chemistry), moieties within their ergoline ring system (chemistry), ring system. The simplest lysergamides are ergine (lysergic acid amide; LSA) and isoergine (iso-lysergic acid amide; iso-LSA). In terms of pharmacology, the lysergamides include numerous serotonin and dopamine receptor (biochemistry), receptor agonists, most notably the psychedelic drug lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) but also a number of pharmaceutical drugs like ergometrine, methylergometrine, methysergide, and cabergoline. Various analogues of LSD, such as the psychedelics ALD-52 (1A-LSD), ETH-LAD, LSZ, and 1P-LSD and the non-hallucinogenic 2-bromo-LSD (BOL-148) ...

Psychedelic Lysergamides
Psychedelics are a subclass of hallucinogenic drugs whose primary effect is to trigger non-ordinary mental states (known as psychedelic experiences or "trips") and a perceived "expansion of consciousness". Also referred to as classic hallucinogens or serotonergic hallucinogens, the term ''psychedelic'' is sometimes used more broadly to include various other types of hallucinogens as well, such as those which are atypical or adjacent to psychedelia like salvia and MDMA, respectively. Classic psychedelics generally cause specific psychological, visual, and auditory changes, and oftentimes a substantially altered state of consciousness. They have had the largest influence on science and culture, and include mescaline, LSD, psilocybin, and DMT. There are a large number of both naturally occurring and synthetic serotonergic psychedelics. Most psychedelic drugs fall into one of the three families of chemical compounds: tryptamines, phenethylamines, or lysergamides. They produce the ...
