''PBA on Vintage Sports'' is a Television in the Philippines, Philippine television sports presentation show broadcast by Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation, City2, People's Television Network, MBS/PTV and Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation, IBC. It aired from March 7, 1982 to December 12, 1999. The consist of branding used for presentation of Philippine Basketball Association games produced by Vintage Television, Vintage Sports. History In 1982, the PBA awarded the broadcast rights of its games to Vintage Television, Vintage Enterprises, Inc., a company owned by Carlos "Bobong" Velez and signed a P5.4 million deal with the league. Carlos Briggs
Carlos Mitchell Briggs (born March 2, 1963) is a retired American professional basketball player from Detroit, Michigan. Since retiring from professional basketball, Carlos Briggs has enjoyed a successful coaching career at the high school and collegiate levels, and was most recently an assistant coach at Florida A&M. Basketball career After high school, he stayed in Michigan to play two years for Schoolcraft College during his freshman (1982–83) and sophomore (1983–84) seasons. Bobby Parks
Bobby Ray Parks Sr. (November 26, 1961 – March 30, 2013) was an American professional basketball player from Grand Junction, Tennessee. He played for Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis) from 1980 to 1984 and played internationally in the Philippines, Indonesia and France. The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, or simply known as the Magnolia Hotshots, are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team is owned by San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc., a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation (SMC). The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 PBA season, 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Magnolia Hotshots for the third-most titles overall. The ULTRA
The Philippine Institute of Sports Multi-Purpose Arena or PhilSports Arena is an indoor arena, indoor sporting arena located inside the PhilSports Complex in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was formerly known as the University of Life Theater and Recreational Arena or the ULTRA. The arena is part of the PhilSports Complex which is maintained by the Philippine Sports Commission. It was the site of the majority of the games of the Philippine Basketball Association from 1985 to 1992 and from 1999 to 2002. The league still occasionally comes back to play at the arena. The arena was also the home court of the Pasig-Rizal Pirates in the Metropolitan Basketball Association in 1998 and the San Juan Knights in 1999.
