テ行landsflug was an airline and aircraft leasing company based at Keflavテュk International Airport, Reykjavテュk. History The airline was established in 1991 by the merger of two small domestic scheduled airlines, ''Arnarflug, Arnarflug innanlands hf.'' and ''Flugtak''. In 1994, the airline began overnight parcel services to East Midlands Airport using a Fairchild Metro aircraft. The airline took delivery of its first ATR-42 in 1996. In 1997, the airline became a jet operator with the delivery of its first Boeing 737, Boeing 737-200QC which was used for passenger and freight services. Islandsflug's first widebody aircraft, an Airbus A310, was delivered in 2001, making the airline the first Airbus Industrie, Airbus operator in Iceland. In 2005 it merged into Air Atlanta Icelandic.Flight International 5窶11 April 2005 Landsflug took over the domestic operations of Islandsflug. Arnarflug
Arnarflug, also known as Eagle Air, was a major Icelandic airline that operated from April 1976 until its bankruptcy in October 1990. It was founded by former employees of Air Viking following its bankruptcy in March 1976. Arnarflug was the main competitor of Flugleiテーir during the 1980s. The airline had domestic and international flights and a car rental. The domestic part was made a separate company, Arnarflug innanlands hf., in May 1987. In 1991 it merged with テ行landsflug.
