''Macon, Georgia'' is the tenth studio album by American country music artist Jason Aldean. It is a double album, with the first half, ''Macon'', released on November 12, 2021, and ''Georgia'', the second half, released on April 22, 2022. Content Preceding the release of ''Macon'' was the release of the single " If I Didn't Love You", featuring Carrie Underwood. The album's full tracklist was revealed on September 27, 2021. Aldean said of the album, "Where you were raised has such a big influence on who you become, and for me it’s no different." Critical reception Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic, while criticizing both sides of the album for delivering only a similar sound and vocal attack to "Burnin' It Down", praised ''Macon'' by stating "By changing gears every so often, Aldean manages to give Macon a slight hint of a pulse." Michael Ray Roach (born April 29, 1988) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He is signed to Warner Music Nashville. He has released two albums for the label: '' Michael Ray'' and '' Amos''. Biography Ray was born in Eustis, Florida. He was inspired by his grandfather Amos "Wilson" Roach, who played music for him and taught him how to play guitar, in addition to having him perform at assisted living centers. Ray chose to form a band in southern Florida after graduating high school, and a disc jockey at WPCV began playing his music. Rodney Dale Clawson (born in Gruver, Texas, United States) is an American country music songwriter. Clawson has written singles recorded by Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Faith Hill, George Strait and Luke Bryan, among others. Biography Clawson was raised in Gruver, Texas. John Rich
John Rich (born January 7, 1974) is an American country music singer-songwriter. From 1992 to 1998, he was a member of the country music band Lonestar, in which he played bass guitar and alternated with Richie McDonald as lead vocalist. After departing from the band in 1998, he embarked on a solo career on BNA Records in the late 1990s, releasing two singles for the label and recording ''Underneath the Same Moon'', which was not released until 2006. He and John Rich comprise the duo Big & Rich, who recorded four studio albums and charted fifteen singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs chart. "Amarillo Sky" is a song written by Big Kenny and John Rich (of Big & Rich), along with Rodney Clawson and Bart Pursley. It was originally recorded by Rich for his album ''Rescue Me'' in 2001.
