Flamingo

Flamingos or flamingoes () are a type of wading bird in the familyPhoenicopteridae, which is the only extant family in the order Phoenicopteriformes. There are four flamingo species distributed throughout the Americas (including the Caribbean), and two species native to Afro-Eurasia.
