Albert of Saxony (Latin: Albertus de Saxonia; c. 1320 – 8 July 1390) was a late medievalGermanphilosopher, mathematician, and Latin (Catholic) bishop known for his contributions to logic and physics. As Fürstbischof (prince-bishop), he ruled as bishop ofHalberstadt (Hochstift Halberstadt) from 1366 until his death in 1390.
