. As part of the celebration, the couple were paraded around Kampong Ayer and the banks of the Brunei River, with the British High Commissioner Fernley Webber in attendance. On the 27th, the Majlis Kesyukuran ceremony was carried out with the couple receiving gifts from royal family members, at the Department of Religious Affairs's Madrasah Hall.
