History

The station began broadcasting on 5 February 2008 at 6:00 in Moscow on 97.6 MHz. Initially broadcasting in Moscow and St. Petersburg, it now broadcasts to more than sixty regions in Russia.

. The transmitter thus reached not only all of Ukraine, but also a substantial portion of Europe. On 26 April 2022, one of the multiple antenna systems of Vesti FM was blown up by unknown perpetrators, as part of the wider Transnistria attacks. However, the mediumwave station at 1413 kHz continued to operate.
