Navarro became a star in the film Mr. Suave, a parody of the Parokya ni Edgar song of the same name. Navarro started to gain recognition for his acting skills when he appeared in the film No Other Woman in 2011. He has since then starred in a number of films such as ''

Navarro started his music career in 2002 when he released his first self-titled album under Viva Records.
