Talal Hamiyah is a senior Lebanese militant leader and a key figure in Hezbollah. Attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Pennsylvania

According to the following reports, Iran has plotted to assassinate President Donald Trump.

November 2024 plot

The U.S. Justice Department unsealed criminal charges detailing a plot allegedly backed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) to kill Trump before the November 5, 2024 election. Farhad Shakeri, an Iranian national, was charged for his alleged involvement in this plot and 8 members of the black ops' unit were arrested in the US for planning the assassination of Donald Trump. Furthermore, Iranian brigadier general Ruhollah Bazghandi, was charged in alleged plot to kill New York-based journalist and activist Masih Alinejad.

July 2024 incident

On July 13, 2024, an assassin's bullet reportedly grazed Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, PA. This incident occurred shortly after U.S. authorities became aware of another Iranian plot involving Asif Merchant, who was arrested on July 12, 2024.
