Olsson was married to Leanna Nash from 2005 until their divorce in 2012. They have two children, a son, Dagan and a daughter, MacKenzie. On September 7, 2019, Olsson married Katherine Lohmeyer, a NICU nurse in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ty Olsson and Katherine Lohmeyer filed a joint petition for divorce on September 8, 2021. Olsson is currently in a relationship with fellow ''Supernatural'' actor
