Benner, “Exploitation, Exploration and Process Management: The Productivity Dilemma Revisited" (Academy of Management Review, 2003); In 2014 he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and also in 2014, Tushman was recognized as a Foundational Scholar in the Knowledge and Innovation Group of the Strategic Management Society .
