History

The trial run of Corridor 4, 5, 6, and 7 were conducted in December 2006, and all the routes were inaugurated on January 27, 2007 by the Governor of Jakarta at the time,

From January 16, 2020 to May 19, 2023, Corridor 4 was temporarily extended to the Tosari BRT station on Corridor 1, due to the Galunggung BRT station moved its service into a temporary building as the impact of the Dukuh Atas LRT Station construction. After the LRT station construction completed, Corridor 4 has returned to its original terminus of Dukuh Atas 2 (now Galunggung) on May 20, 2023.


Temporary readjusment

Starting from October 8, 2024, the Flyover Pramuka–Manggarai section from both direction, which originally passed through Tambak street, is temporarily rerouted via Matraman Raya, Slamet Riyadi, Manggarai Utara 1 and 2 streets, citing the

phase 1B construction at Tambak. As the temporarily-adjusted route adjacent with corridor 5 at Matraman Raya, Tegalan and Kesatrian BRT stations of corridor 5 also started to serve westbound corridor 4 buses to Galunggung only.


List of BRT stations

* Due to the construction of the Jakarta LRT at Tambak street, corridor 4 is currently temporarily rerouted to Matraman Raya (runs through corridor 5), Slamet Riyadi, Manggarai Utara 1 and 2 streets since October 8, 2024. Corridor 4 is also temporarily serving Tegalan and Kesatrian BRT stations of corridor 5 for westbound buses only. * Currently, all stations (except Velodrome, Kayu Jati and Rawamangun) are served by buses 24 hours a day. The three stations only open until 22:00, as the AMARI service is currently being temporarily rerouted via Kayu Manis, Perintis Kemerdekaan and Jend. Ahmad Yani streets since October 8, 2024. * Stations indicated by a → sign has a one way service towards Galunggung only.

Route 4D (Pulo Gadung – Patra Kuningan)
