Tokyo Shoegazer was initially formed as a one-time band, performing at the birthday party of Sasabuchi Hiroshi in October 2010. Tokyo Shoegazer held a 10th anniversary performance of ''Crystallize'' in December 2021, coinciding with the release of a 10th anniversary remastered version of the album.
