Toby Samuel (born 6 September 2002) is a British tennis player. He has a career high singles ranking of 414 achieved on 30 October 2023. He has a career high doubles ranking of 303 achieved on 25 September 2023.
Early and personal life
From
St. Leonards, parents Richard and Sarah (who represented Great Britain at gymnastics) he has an older brother called Ben and a younger brother called Rafe and all three are keen sportsmen. He attended Castle Court Prep School and
Bournemouth Collegiate School. A student at the
University of South Carolina, in 2023 Samuel alongside partner
Connor Thomson won the All American Doubles title and became the number one ranked doubles team in Collegiate tennis. The pair received all-American honours for being seeded for the NCAA Championships.
