History

The settlement was first founded in 1898 as a settlement of Haichur. After World War II, it was renamed ''Ternuvate''. Until 26 January 2024, Ternuvate was designated

. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Ternuvate became a rural settlement.
