jidaigeki is a genre of film, television, and theatre in Japan. Literally meaning "historical drama, period dramas", it refers to stories that take place before the Meiji Restoration of 1868. ''Jidaigeki'' show the lives of the samurai, farmers, crafts ...
'' or period drama, that was broadcast in 1973–1974. It is the third in the ''Hissatsu'' series and is based on Saga Sen's ''Seibei-ryū Gokui''.


Plot

Seibie used to be a famous bandit. Now Seibie's official job is an employment agency but also he takes charge of killing villains with money. Seibie's targets are always villains who escape justice despite their crimes. Skilled swordsman Nakayama Bunjuro and Tsji Heinai work for him. At first Ryu tries to kill Seibie but he also starts working for him.
