History

The station was founded on December 1, 1990 as ''TV Aliança Paulista''. In 1998, it was renamed ''TV Aliança'' and on May 6, 2003, when it was acquired by the businessman José Hawilla, owner of Traffic Group, it received its current name.

Digital television

The station started its digital transmissions on April 21, 2009, over UHF channel 26, in experimental character. On July 14, the minister of communications Hélio Costa signed the license of the channel, authorizing the definitive transmissions, that started on July 27.

Transition to digital signal

The station turned off its analog signal, over UHF channel 33, on January 17, 2018, as part of the federally mandated transition from analog to digital television. The station's digital signal remains on its pre-transition UHF channel 26, using PSIP to display TV TEM Sorocaba's virtual channel as 26 on digital television receivers.
