Music career

Ghambi began singing in early 2000s but got wide attention in 2010 after he released several singles. He released one mixtape titled D.O.S, as well as one new EP titled Dethrone, and several hit singles including Ulendo Wa Kumwamba (Journey to Heaven), Necessary Noise, D.Y.M, Mkazi Wa Kumwamba (A woman of Heaven) and Ndinakakhala Judge (If I was a judge). Mkazi Wa Kumwamba saw over 75,000 downloads in two weeks on Malawi's official media website. Ghambi got national recognition in Malawi after he released his single ''Ulendo Wa Kumwamb''a which saw over 60, 000 downloads on Malawi's official media website in the first week.
