. All of the teams compete in the Tidewater Conference for independent schools and the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association. From 2014 to 2023, the Steward School has won 12 state championships. In the 2022-2023 academic year 13 athletes received VISAA DII first or second team all state recognition and six athletes were NCAA-recruited college signees.
