The
wingspan is 25–30 mm. Adults are on wing in March and April. A specimen captured in early October indicates there might be a second generation.
The larvae feed on various
Rubiaceae species, including ''
Kohautia'', ''
Galium'', ''
Rubia'' and ''
Jaubertia''.
