Simulation Councils, Inc. became The Society for Computer Simulation. SCS organizes meetings, sponsors and co-sponsors national and international conferences, and publishes the SIMULATION: Transactions of The Society for Modeling and Simulation International and The Journal of Defense Modeling and Simulation magazines.
