''Slay'' is an upcoming

Kyra Elise Gardner makes her narrative feature debut as director, working from a screenplay by first-time writer
Jimmi Simpson. Simpson stated that he wrote ''Slay'' about "that moment in adolescence where you realize your friends know how to hurt you better than anyone else. ''Slay'' lives right there— but with sick music, jokes and stabbings".
