Career

Sutherland's professional life was varied across the entertainment business, ranging from journalism, screenwriting, animation, sound recording, and sound editing. In the 1930s, Sutherland wrote magazine articles, including two for ''Liberty'' magazine entitled ''The Mystery of Sacco and Vanzetti''.
