In 2012, Ramlochan was shortlisted for the '' Small Axe'' Literary Competition for Poetry, and in 2014 she won second prize in the same competition for "The Red Thread Cycle", from her debut collection. In 2013, she was selected as one of three New Talent Showcase writers at the
