History

The team was founded in 1998 as Gyumri Futsal to become one of the founding members of the

. The team has participated in every single season of the futsal league since 1998. In September 2017, as a result of financial difficulties, the club became part of the Shirak SC family and re-branded as ''Shirak SC Futsal'' starting from the 2017-18 season. They currently play their home games at the Aram Sargsyan Sports Hall of Gyumri.
