Later, she got admission into Saint Ann's College for Women, Secunderabad. In 1999 she was crowned "Miss Andhra", which eventually boosted her interest towards showbiz. As per Chopra, her prolonged work struggle led to sexual exploitation in the industry and ultimately resulted in her becoming one of the strong voices of the "Me Too" movement in India.
