Sborgite is colorless with
monoclinic crystals. It was named for Umberto Sborgi, (1883–1955), Professor of Chemistry,
University of Milan, Italy. Sborgite occurs in
Tuscany,
Italy and the
Furnace Creek district,
Death Valley,
California, US.
