at a young age. As a child, she had no interest in modeling, preferring to spend her time writing and dancing. She frequently participated in

competitions before an ankle injury ended her hobby. Her mother's friends and even strangers would compliment Sasha's modeling potential. When Sasha was 13, her mother took her to visit a modeling agency, where she was signed. Luss has said her grandmother disapproved of this career move, calling modeling a terrible and immoral business.
