Sakapultek or Sacapulteco is a Mayan language very closely related to Kʼicheʼ (Quiché). It is spoken by approximately 15,000 people in Sacapulas, El Quiché department and in Guatemala City.The official 2002 census mentions a lower figure of 6.973 Sakapulteko speakers. See
