Shin Ryu-jin was born on April 17, 2001, in

". In June 2022, Ryujin, along with fellow Itzy member Yeji, performed Bebe Rexha's "Break My Heart Myself" in the "Mix & Max" series by Studio Choom. On January 8, 2024, Ryujin released a music video for her solo track "Run Away", a song from Itzy's eighth EP '' Born To Be''.


Philanthropy

On April 12, 2022, Ryujin donated to The Promise, in support of those affected by the forest fire on the east coast of Gangwon-do. On February 14, 2023, she donated to the same non-profit organization, in support of those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
