She holds degrees in economics (BBA) and business administration (MA, 1992) from the University of Barcelona, Spain. She obtained her master's (AM, 1996) and PhD (1999) degrees in sociology from Harvard University. Her doctoral thesis is titled "Elites, Corporations, and the Wealth of Nations".


Career
