Roosevelt's first project was Beat!Beat!Beat!, an indie teenage band, in which he was the drummer. After the band separated, he decided to pursue a solo career.

In July 2023, he announced a fourth album, ''Embrace'', which was released on 22 September 2023. Five singles were released beforehand: "Ordinary Love", "Luna", "Paralyzed", "Rising", and "Forevermore". On recording the album, he shared, "It's been a wild mix of rented studios and Airbnbs, but very often just me with my laptop and headphones."
