on loan. He made his debut for the club on 19 August 2019 during a 2-1 league win over C.D. Tondela. Rodrigo featured in eight league matches for the side before returning in July 2020.


Return from loan

Rodrigo was included in the first team squad after his loan ended, but only started to feature again for the first in 2021. He scored his first goal for São Paulo on 25 April 2021, netting the opener in a 3–0 away win over Ituano. Rodrigo left the club in December 2021, as his contract expired.
