Life

Rick Kavanian grew up with his parents, both Armenian who emigrated from Bucharest to Munich in the 1950s, and his grandmother. As a child he learned to speak Romanian from his parents who used to live in Romania, Armenian from his grandmother and learned German and English in school. From 1990 to 1994 Kavanian studied political science, North American history and psychology in Munich and Augsburg.
