History

The company was founded as Uitzendbureau Amstelveen in the Netherlands in 1960 by Gerrit Daleboudt and Frits Goldschmeding (1933-2024) based on an idea for a college thesis. Goldschmeding eventually became the richest person in the Netherlands. The name was changed to Randstad NV four years later. In 2008, the company acquired
