Career

He began his career at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he held the position of associate professor in the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy. He serves as editor-in-chief for ''Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair'' (journal) and deputy editor for ''Brain Stimulation'' (journal). He also served for 20 years as a director of the Landon Center on Aging, an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Nudo and his partner, Pedram Mohseni, had co-owned the trademark and the company ''NeuraLink'' since 2015. The trademark was acquired by
