His older brother Shachar remarked: "My obligation as an older brother was to take care of my little brother and take him everywhere, so I also took him to the Olympics." The race consisted of a 1.5-kilometer swim, followed by a 40-kilometer bike race, and then finally a 10-kilometer run.
