Personal life

Born in the Netherlands, Struick has Indonesian ancestry through both of his parents. His father is a Dutch citizen of Indonesian descent, while his mother is of both Surinamese and Javanese ancestry. On 22 May 2023, Struick officially obtained Indonesian citizenship.
