She had been a practising attorney-at-law for eight years, and was employed with the Federal Executive Council for 14 years.
From 1996 to 2000, she was a member of the Executive Board of the
Zvezdara Municipal Assembly.
From 2000-2001, she was a member of the Executive Board of the City of Belgrade Assembly in charge of property-right, building land and information affairs. At the same time, she was the Acting Director of ''
Studio B Public Broadcasting Enterprise'' (for seven months). From June 2001 to November 2004, she was the Chairwoman of the City of Belgrade Assembly.
