In July 2017, it was relaunched as mobile app. In 2016, Zayride, an online booking service was launched by Habtamu Tadesse. Since 2016, the service had 42,000 authorized taxi drivers, while other ridesharing company named Feres is major competitor of RIDE. RIDE charges 12% commission from driver while Feres charges only 8% commission, pay to the company.
