Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 24,407 in 4,339 households. The following census in 2011 counted 26,583 people in 5,700 households, by which time the village of Qatur had been elevated to the status of a city. The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 24,591 inhabitants in 5,838 households.
