Plot

The film tells the story of the battle between a ruthless moneylender played by Napoleon and a family that was his victim, who find their footing, climbing back up and seeking vengeance, with the women in both families becoming pawns. This is a successful village movie with very good songs.

'' praised the performances of Sukanya and Napolean, but felt casting young people in elderly roles gave a play like feel. He praised Bharathiraja's direction, scenes and making while also saying the plot had a lot of loopholes and flaws but everything gets overshadowed.
