Early life and education

Prince Hashim (or Hashem) was born on 10 June 1981 at King Hussein Medical Center in Wadi Al-Seer, Amman. He received his elementary education in Amman at the Amman Baccalaureate School and then attended the schools of

and St. Mark's in the United States. He later graduated from Maret School in Washington, D.C., in 1999. Prince Hashim went to the
