Pirmin Schwander (born 28 December 1961) is a Swiss businessman, economist and politician. He has served as a member on the National Council (Switzerland), National Council for the Swiss People's Party since 2003. In the 2023 Swiss federal election Schwander was nominated to serve on the Council of States (Switzerland), Council of States, which he won. Schwander served as president of the Campaign for an Independent and Neutral Switzerland from 2004 to 2014.
