Early life and education

Ploynira was born in Bangkok, Thailand as Phatchara Tubthong. She has an older sister named Patcharee Tubthong (Join), who is a former actress, and a younger brother. In October 2023, she revealed that she has changed her legal name to Ploynira Hiruntaveesin for almost 2 months. She explained: "I searched my old name on the web, and it was not accurate or good, so I asked to change it for peace of mind. After more than a month of changing it, I am very happy with my name.
