Previously the district was named Okanagan-Penticton from 1991 to 2001, Penticton-Okanagan Valley from 2001 to 2009 and Penticton from 2009 to 2024. The riding adopted its current name and had modest boundary changes from the
2024 election, which implemented the results of the
2021 redistribution.
