's youth teams. He made his debut in senior football on 21 June 2014 for the club's reserve team. As a 16-year-old, he played 10 minutes in a league match between Stal Poniatowa and Górnik Łęczna II. His breakthrough season turned out to be the 2015–16 campaign, when Szysz began to play an increasingly important role in the team. A year later, he was loaned to fourth-tier club
