. It contains two species, ''Paranomalocaris multisegmentalis'' and ''P. simplex''. It is only known from its frontal appendage. The frontal appendage features endites with numerous auxiliary spines, and at least 22 segments (podomeres), hence the specific name ''multisegmentalis''.
