Background and promotion

The album initially had the working title of ''Nav2'' in 2022, presenting it as a sequel to Nav's 2017 mixtape ''Nav''. On February 10, 2023, he released the self-produced single " Lately", which was originally going to serve as the lead single from the project. In April 2024, Nav performed at the

On March 18, 2025, Nav released a trailer video, and showed the cover art on March 19. The lead single, "Real Me", a collaboration with Metro Boomin, was released on March 21.
